I wanted to thank you for this advice for getting a fireplace ready for the winter. You mentioned it could be good to have a log rack for a hard wood storage so that the wood can stay dry. This seems really important especially if you’ll need wood regularly for your fireplace.

I am thinking about getting a fireplace for my basement this winter, so thanks for sharing this. I like your point about keeping wood stored away and using a log rack to keep it organized. I’ll definitely consider investing in one of these so the wood can stay dry.

My fireplace dimensions are 25 3/8 inch in height and 36 inch wide. The height varies from a bit more than 25 1/2 to 25 3/8. It seems like I need the small size but would be borderline for the medium size (25 1/2 height). Which size is best for my fireplace? Would the medium fit and be better?

I ordered from amazon and the screen came broken. We already installed when we noticed screen was ripped on $300 door. Is it possible to order a new screen door? Amazon won’t offer an option to purchase new door.

My fireplace measures 36.5″ wide with a 28″ height. This seems to fall into two categories; the small and the medium. Which of these sizes would work best for my fireplaces? Thank you
